West Palm Beach do do online “town halls” on budget

Guess what? Compumatrix is not the only place with an online town hall.

Residents will be able to tell West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio how they’d spend city money, in a series of online “open town halls.”

Muoio mentioned the concept at recent city meetings. The city released some details overnight.

“If you are given $100 of taxpayer money to spend on city services, how will you divide it up?” the overnight release said.

Muoio is expected to elaborate this morning at her weekly press briefing.
